All concerts are held at Saint Patrick’s Episcopal Church (3241 Brush Drive, Falls Church, VA 22042)


Concerts are fully funded by donations.  A donation of $25 helps us to defray costs, and will allow us to continue to provide fine concerts.

Karen Johnson, violin; Atticus Mellor-Goldman, cello & Minji Nam, piano


Karen Johnson, violinist and Atticus Mellor-Goldman, cellist are the members of the “The President’s Own” Marine Chamber Orchestra. Wait until you hear monumental Arensky’s Piano Trio with award winning pianist, Minji Nam!  They will also present duo selections.

Makoto Nakura, marimba

Makoto is back! His artistry and astonishing virtuosity have been mesmerizing audiences each time!
The program features a song cycle “Le ceinture de ciel” for marimba and baritone which Makoto commissioned from Benjamin C. S. Boyle in 2024.  With the superb Baritone, Randall Scarlata, Makoto explores five magical poems by Paul Valéry. The program also includes selections of J.S. Bach and other works composed for Makoto.

Yalin Chi & Steven Beck, piano

Yalin and Steven are both prominent pianists who reside in New York City. They will entertain us with one piano four hands music!

District 5 Wind Quintet

Now in its 12th season, District 5 has established itself as one of the most innovative chamber music ensembles in the greater Washington DC area. Welcome back to Odeon!

For this concert, they will present the program named: Better Together: Music for Resilience. In a divided world, District5 invites you to rediscover what brings us together. This isn’t just a concert—it’s an experience of community—where we can pause, breathe, and reconnect through music. Through a series of stunningly beautiful and uplifting works we’ll explore how music offers unity and resilience. Works by Bernstein, Grieg, and Boulanger.

April 4, 2027 at 4 p.m.

Sofya Gulyak, piano

Russian pianist, Sofya Gulyak, won first prize in the multiple international competitions. She is the first woman to win the Leeds Piano Competition in 2009. Currently she is Associate Professor of Music at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. 
For this concert, she will play selections by Liszt, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, and more. Welcome to Odeon, Sofya!

May 16, 2027 at 4 p.m.

Irina Muresanu, violin Daniel del Pino, piano

We can’t ask for better closer of the season!  Irina Muresanu is originally from Romania, Daniel del Pino is originally from Spain, they will present a program titled “From Madrid to Bucharest”. Please look forward to this excellent program by superb performers!
